James Bond: Conclusion

Well there ya have it. We are done with the reviews but frankly I want to wrap things up properly so I’m doing something of a conclusion with my views on the series as a whole and afterwards I’m gonna treat you all to a special Bond themed list.

I love the franchise, no doubt about it. The action is always great as is the acting and the car work. The character of Bond is interesting and a lot of different emotions come across, mainly because of different actors playing him. The Bond girls are almost always pretty and the best ones are the ones that can hold their own. The villains are generally memorable, but there are always exceptions. It’s interesting to note that they mostly all have some form of physical of mental impairment or additional little twist to their personality, for example; Blofeld has his scar, Scaramanga has three nipples, Sanchezs is paranoid etc. The henchmen are also generally memorable, although you do get the stereotypically well-built Aryan sort of guy like Red Grant or Necros. The plots vary too much, I prefer the over the top meglomanical stuff. The songs are mostly good, with only three exceptions. Overall I love this film series. It is incredibly important socially, historically and above all for entertainment value it is difficult to beat.

Anywho time for some lists. Now don’t get your hopes up I wont be spending too long on them and they’ll only be for my top 3. Nevertheless you have a major, very important list to look forward to so shut up…
