The Meg. No, not the Mila Kunis voiced teenager from Family Guy, but rather, a megalodon shark. In the modern day. With Jason Statham, Li Bingbing and Ruby Rose. What do I think of it?Continue reading “The Meg (2018)”
Right then. We’ve been here, what, nearly 8 years now? With that in mind (following some serious thought), we’ve decided to change our URL a little bit, get it a bit closer to the truth. We’re no longer just That Guy reviewing stuff, haven’t been for a while, and TGTRS has been us for as long as anything else.
What I’m trying to say is, you can find us at:
That’s right, we’re a dot-co-dot-uk, baby! And this is just one of many changes we have in mind for this year. Watch this space, like this place, and most importantly, share us with your friends.
Another year has come and gone, and we’d just like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for visiting TGTRS. Together, you’ve made this our most successful year since 2013, and we’re hoping to take that momentum into 2019 so that we can really thrive, producing great content for you, and making us feel pretty damn good about it.
In the next few days, Benny and I will be discussing a few directions we intend to go in 2019, and then after that, the team as a whole will be chatting about these directions and seeing whether they’re right for the site and how we want to go about it. Rest assured, we have big plans, and we hope to have you join us in exploring them.
But, for now, all of us at TGTRS would like to wish you a very Happy New Year, and we hope to keep seeing you throughout 2019.
PS. The person that comes up with the best meaning behind AIB during the course of January 2019 will win something for the value of up to £5.00 Sterling. Comment below, or on our Facebook or Twitter to enter.

So, as part of our mission to make things better for you and everyone else, let’s have a look at 2018, through our reviews.Continue reading “2018 In Reviews”
On behalf of the entire TGTRS team, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!

Right then. I’m on record as being one of the few people on this God-forsaken planet that doesn’t go hoop-la over the movie Home Alone (1990), and instead, takes issue with it. Here’s a number of reasons why.
