What a lucky fella, eh? Christmas, New Years and then his birthday all in the space of about 10 days. Though I’m sure that probably means people cheap out on the presents. Bastards!
And despite the fact that we here at TGTRS are skint misers, we would like to wish That Other Guy a very happy birthday today. I believe it was Elton John that sang “my gift is my song, aaaaaand this one’s to you”. Well, we don’t do singing, it’s not our strength at all, but we do do writing, and on this – the most special of days for you – we commit these words.
Have a great day, buddy.
From the whole TGTRS team.
Another year has come and gone, and we’d just like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for visiting TGTRS. Together, you’ve made this our most successful year since 2013, and we’re hoping to take that momentum into 2019 so that we can really thrive, producing great content for you, and making us feel pretty damn good about it.
In the next few days, Benny and I will be discussing a few directions we intend to go in 2019, and then after that, the team as a whole will be chatting about these directions and seeing whether they’re right for the site and how we want to go about it. Rest assured, we have big plans, and we hope to have you join us in exploring them.
But, for now, all of us at TGTRS would like to wish you a very Happy New Year, and we hope to keep seeing you throughout 2019.
PS. The person that comes up with the best meaning behind AIB during the course of January 2019 will win something for the value of up to £5.00 Sterling. Comment below, or on our Facebook or Twitter to enter.
2018 has been a remarkable year, and since it’s coming to a close, we’ve been doing a lot of looking over the way things have gone for us over the last 12 months, so that we can make things even better for you, our reader, in 2019.
So, as part of our mission to make things better for you and everyone else, let’s have a look at 2018, through our reviews.

On behalf of the entire TGTRS team, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!
Right, so we’ve looked at each panto individually, now I want to take a little time to rank them in times of personal feeling, from my least to best like. Won’t take long, you may be able to guess where they all sit, but trust me when I say that this was more difficult than I initially thought it might be.

We all love a good Christmas movie, even if we don’t love Christmas. With that in mind, here are my Top Five Christmas Movies.

So, we’ve had too pretty bad pantos in Cinderella (2000) and Aladdin (2000) and on fairly good one in Jack and the Beanstalk (1998), now we have Dick Whittington (2002), will things get better, worse, or stay the same? Christ, I sound like an optician.
